We're Back (With Britney Recap)
Sorry for the absence of updates for the last few months. The entire Britney frenzy and all the drama was too much for me to report on. I think it's best that during times like those the fan sites back off and don't give fuel to the fire.

The quick Britney recap I mentioned in the title will just review what's happened since I've been gone. Britney released her second single and video for Piece of Me. I added the video in the video section, you can see it here. Britney regained visitation, but lost it again on January third after she refused to give the children back to Kevin. Britney was taken to the hspital for a couple of days. Following that, she frequented gas stations, Starbucks, and Rite Aid, with multiple sets of candids every day. In late January, Britney's parents came to LA after she had a fight with self proclaimed, so called "manager" Sam Lufti. She ended up being taken to the hospital again, where she stayed for a good amount of time. During that time, Britney's fatherJamie became her conservator of hersefl and her estate, menaing her is basically in control of everything, until July unless it is challenged. Lynne declared, under oath, that she believes Sam Lufti drugged Britney. This declaration is a very good read and really clues you in to the magnitude of what Britney has to live with. Read it here. Within the last week or so, Britney has regained visitation of children Sean Preston and Jayden James and is seeing them very often. She has been dancing, reportedly rehearsing for a video for her next single ("Break The Ice"), and has been teaching dance classes to young children. She auctioned off a picture of her teaching a dance class for charity. Britney's life has been very quiet for the last month and she appears to finally be getting back on track. the restraining order against Sam Lufti is still in place and Britney has not seen him since the night of her hospitalization in the end of January. More than one person has come forward saying Sam Lufti was also a 'friend' of theirs until he took control of their lives and threatened them and their families, just as Sam has done to Britney. A simple breakdown of a couple of those claims against Lufti can be found here, although there is much more to the stories. A demo of Britney's called "Dramatic" also leaked last week. It is a 'duet' of sorts between Britney and Heidi Montag, though the use of Britney's vocals on the track is unauthorized. Britney never worked with Heidi and never planned this. You can listen to "Dramatic" here. Britney is also reported to be in the early stages of a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother, reports from today claim. She is said to have gone in for a quick read through of the show, which unless plans change, will air as soon as April 7th. These pictures are absolutely amazing! They sooo should have used the first one for the album cover!! Well at least we have them now. I'll post them again if any HQ's leak, but they haven't so far. At least we get some new pics, and hope that the album booklet will have new ones too =]



Britney Loses Visitation, Will Regain It Very Soon
Kevin's Lawyer: Britney Will Get Visitation Back Soon

No baby Blackout yet: A day after court documents revealed that Britney Spears's visitation rights were revoked, her ex Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan tells PEOPLE she will likely regain the privilege before their next court hearing on Oct. 26.

"She has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension]," Kaplan says. "I expect that visitation will be reinstated."

The document released Thursday stated, "[Spears's] visitation with the minor children is suspended pending [her] compliance with court orders."

A Spears source gave more insight into the decision, telling PEOPLE Spears was unreachable for court-related calls due to bad reception at her Malibu home. Despite repeated attempts to reach the singer on her cell phone, the source says Spears "waited" but "it never rang."

Kaplan, speaking to PEOPLE Thursday as he was leaving dinner at Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood, also confirmed that Britney and Kevin's 730 evaluations – which involve a third party assessing the quality of parenting and making observation-based recommendations regarding the final custody arrangement – have begun.

Therapy Sessions
As for the co-parenting therapy sessions she and Federline must attend together: "They are just about to do that."

This latest development follows an endless string of major and minor legal mandates including working with a parenting coach and submitting to random drug tests. After losing her custody temporarily on Oct. 1, Spears appeared and was granted one overnight visit a week with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

According to a source, Spears is currently doing "fine."

Britney Spears: The Comeback

Britney Spears: tabloid favorite, music superstar, mother of two. She's all that, plus so much more. Her career took off like a shot with the release of "Baby One More Time", all the way back in 98/99. With her catholic schoolgirl shirt tied above her bellybutton, and that (now classic) I'm-not-that-innocent look upon her face, Britney started a line of controversies which would only grow over the next 8 years. That same girl would someday shave her head, enter rehab, and lose the two children she had so close together, and loved dearly. Leaving some, if not most, simply scratching their heads.

Britney Spears: Number one hit-maker, career driven woman, powerful popstar. Those are all words, which, while still used to describe her today, people have a difficult time believing. They think that Britney is no more than what you can see, that she ends at skin deep. Well let me tell you something: it's an extreme opposite. When reading the catty remarks Britney has left on her official website, or when listening to or reading anything she's tried to explain about her life, you realize how deep she really is. Inside, she's a down-home girl from Kentwood, Louisiana, where everybody knows your name, where you're accepted for who you are. On the outside, she's a music phenomenon, someone who, despite living in LA, everybody really does know her name. That in itself in amazing, just the thought. Everybody knows your name, all eyes on you. You make a mistake- the whole world will find out.

That's a difficult place to be, one most will never know and could never imagine. It's difficult for someone used to being cautious, being careful. It's even worse for someone with as big a heart as Britney, someone who used to be willing to trust everyone and try to see the good in us all. Over the last year, that Britney has been lost. While she still has an undoubtedly big heart, the trust factor is gone. Your marriage crumbled and ended in a bitter divorce. Check. Your parenting skills have been under the microscope more times than you can count. Check. The man who led your career from the start and got you where you are teamed up with your mother to get you help you don't think you needed. Check. And the list goes on. I can't even begin to think of anyone with as numerous problems as Britney. It's no wonder she doesn't think she can trust anyone anymore. Everyone she loved betrayed her.

One by one Britney problems seemed to be going away. Her divorce was finalized, she reconciled with her mom, all of the people subpoenaed for her custody case have yet to be speak in court, if ever. She had her biggest hit since the title track off of her debut album. Even Britney's physical appearance was improving. Then she lost custody. I believe this turned Britney's world upside down. Though she seems to be pulling through, the look on her face when she has been caught off guard has shown her true pain. Things have been looking up recently, however. Britney was granted monitored visitation a few times a week. She went back to court to ask for overnight visitation rights, which she received for one night per week. Things are finally smoothing out for Miss Spears.

With her new album previously due out on November 13th, fans eagerly made bulletins and banners online. Despite the disappointments we fans seem to get between good things- VMA Performance, simple video, the fact that the album cover uses the same promo picture we've been seeing for months- we are still excited. Imagine how much more ecstatic we became when it was officially announced that the album would be pushed up to October 30th due to online leaks. Sure, leaks aren't a good thing, but the fact they made her change her release date is. There was too much competition on November 13th- Alicia Keys, Celine Dion, etc- so the move is for the best.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, this is the new era. Filled with controversy and an uneasy silence, no one is quite sure what will happen. But with dates approaching fast and media coverage not slowing down, we're going to have to go with the old saying- any press is good press. Everyone is watching Britney. Some waiting for her to fail, some for her to succeed, and others simply watching it unfold. I firmly believe, however, that the fact that she is the most talked about woman on the planet, can correspond into album sales. With rumored talks of interviews for later this month and the recurrence of mysterious auditions for dancers- we know Britney has something up her sleeve. Let's just wait and see, and with dates approaching quickly, that won't be long. I believe in Britney.

Britney got this pair of pink and red lips on her right wrist on February 16, 2007. This was the same night she got a cross on her hip and infamously shaved her head.
The Foot Flowers
I'm not sure when Britney got this one done , but she showcased it on the tonight show with Jay Leno in 2003. it's a string of leaves and flowers that extends from her toes to her ankle. The Cross
Britney got a black, white, and pink cross on her left hip the same time she got the lips.
The Kabahlah symbol
In 2004 it seemed Every celebrity leaned to a new religion for guidance and comfort. Britney was one of them. She got their symbol tattooed on her neck . This symbol means "The power to heal".

I was thinking today and yesterday about what might be a good name for Britney's new album.
Billboard reported that Britney's rumored new album title was My Secret Place. It seemed weird at the time, but now it seems so fitting. It would be like that she has a place to escape to and heal. To get away from the paparazzi and not come back until she was ready. The cover could have Britney in a hidden garden, the CD could have her face in a thoughtful pose, and the back could have her on a stone bench like in the issue of Ok! she did when she was pregnant with Jayden. It would be super cool.
Her music isn't a way to get away from the paparazzi, not what I meant. I meant her writing, her thoughts inside her head. That's where the new music would come from. Very deep and thoughtful. The cover would be in a garden because that is her "secret place!" It's inside herself. It would show she healed herself and is ready to move on. It would say that she still takes time for herself and even though there is no place in the physical world for her to escape, she could escape within herself.
I did like "In The Zone" though. That's where she was at the time. She was all about music and she was 'in that zone'. The music zone, you know. It's not very personal though. "My Secret Place" is much more personal and thoughtful. The album titles from her past have all been her music life. "My Secret Place" would be her personal life. Ya Know? This one just jumped out at me and I thought that Britney and Jive should take a hint with the rumors and actually do this title.
Just so when she does an interview she explains what was behind the title and it's really deep. Then the world will be surprised at her and how deep she goes. They will see that she's a real person and stop treating her like garbage! That's what Britney really needs is a way to get through the paparazzi's thick skulls. I wish her the best.

UsMagaazine.com: Britney Spears' current rehab stint has already had one positive outcome -- Kevin Federline's transformation into Super Dad.

A source close to the former back-up dancer says he's currently put his life on hold while he works overtime to care for his two sons (Sean Preston, 17 months, and 5-month-old Jayden James) and bring his family back together.

"He's devastated and cries all the time," a source close to Federline, 28, tells Us. "Kevin wants to get back together with her. He is her biggest supporter."

The former Mr. Spears may be Mr. Responsible now, but he wasn't always the picture of perfect fatherdom. In the days before Sean Preston was born, Federline was seen partying and smoking marijuana in L.A. and Las Vegas.

But his experiences with Spears seems to have transformed him. And he might be helping the pop star get back on track, too.

It was at least partially at his urging that Spears entered rehab at the Crossroads Center on the island of Antigua. And when she checked out a day later, Federline and Spears's mom, Lynne, took the drastic step of taking her children away from her. Federline reportedly told her she couldn't see her sons again until she went to rehab.

It's unclear how Brit will fare in all this, but one thing is clear: K-Fed is emerging as much more than a punchline for late night TV fodder.

Is It Post-partum Depression?
I have information here from two different news sources talking about what may be Britney's underlying cause.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears’ troubles may have little to do with substance abuse. Sources say doctors at her rehab facility think the underlying reason for her trouble may be post-partum depression.
Sources tell TMZ that Britney’s doctors have two operating theories — either that she suffers from post-partum depression or bipolar disorder. The doctors strongly believe post-partum is the problem.

As for substance abuse, as one source says, “No doubt about it - she likes to drink.” But doctors believe the drinking is a way Spears has coped with a bigger problem.
We’re told Britney, who is sticking it out at the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, is currently reading Brooke Shields’ book, “Down Came the Rain,” in which Shields reveals her battle with post-partum depression.
We’re told doctors believe Spears’ problem is complicated by an intense feeling on her part that she has lost control of her life.
E! Online.com: A source close to Federline told E! Online that he had shared his belief with friends that Spears changed dramatically after she became a mother. "He feels like Britney never was the same after she had their kids," the source said. "Even after the first baby, she had wild mood swings and her temper would go off at the drop of a hat." "It got worse after her second pregnancy. Kevin didn't want another baby so soon, not because he didn't want more kids, but because her temper was so unstable when she was pregnant," the source continued. "After she came home from the hospital the second time, she just seemed really unhappy all of the time. He said, 'Nothing made her happy anymore. She was just angry or sad all the time.'"

Experts have said that Spears' recent spate of erratic behavior could have been motivated by postpartum depression, which can set in anytime during the first year after birth and affects up to 80 percent of new mothers.

Britney Gets A Visit From Her Sons

Her two sons were chauffeured by a bodyguard and Britney's mom met up with the boys at the center when they arrived at 8:30 pm. Larry Debunks Rumors of Suicide Watch
ExtraTV.com: Headlines exploded all over Friday, stating that pop princess Britney Spears was on suicide watch.

But now only "Extra" can reveal the truth behind the disturbing new Brit shocker. "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli got the answer straight from Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph.

"The story is absolutely untrue," he said. "She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better."

Jason Alexander Tell All
Britney Spears' first husband Jason Alexander fears the pop superstar will end up like late actress/model Anna Nicole Smith if she doesn't curb her wild lifestyle.

The "Toxic" singer--who stunned fans when she shaved off her locks last week--checked into the Promises treatment center in Malibu, California, on Wednesday night after two failed attempts in the past week to seek counseling for her ongoing problems.

And Alexander, whose brief marriage to the 25-year-old was annulled 55 hours after tying the knot in Las Vegas in January 2004, is worried she will follow tragic Smith to an early grave if she doesn't complete her latest spell in rehab.

He says, "It freaked me out when I saw she had shaved off her hair--that was clearly a cry for help. The pictures have become increasingly disturbing. I have never said anything about Britney and drugs before but I am very, very concerned about her. I am really worried that she will wind up like Anna Nicole Smith and be found dead."

Alexander also thinks Spears needs to re-examine her life and go back to her Louisiana roots.

He adds, "She needs to knock herself down from the pedestal she thinks she is on and remember that she's just an old country girl. She needs a break from Hollywood. Her problem is she doesn't feel anyone wants her for herself--only for who she is.

Smith died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Feb. 8 at the age of 39. The cause of her death is still under investigation.

Britney High on Cocaine for 72 Hours Straight
Britney Spears' first husband has fuelled reports of the pop superstar's history of drug use--by confessing the pair once stayed awake for 72 hours, high on ecstasy and cocaine.

Alexander revealed he saw the full extent of Spears' recreational drug use when they celebrated the New Year in 2004.

He says, "We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake. Then we would take downers like Valium to come down and rest. Britney stayed up three days straight over New Year. I couldn't keep up.

"She definitely had a problem with dugs when we were together--and that was three years ago."

A Crazy Rehab Update!!
As I'm pretty sure y'all already know, Britney has had a crazy rehab week. She entered the Crossroads Centre in Antigua last week, and stayed for a bout two hours to check it out. She then checked herself in and out again in one day. She reportedly left because she was not given her any privacy from the other guests and could not even wear what she wanted to. Britney then returned to Florida nad almost missed her flight back to Malibu. When she got to the airport, ahe was told the door was closed and the walkway had been retreated. Britney begged to get on the plain so she could go home and see her boys. They let her on, but she had to fly in coach becuase the first class section was full. Reports say that Brit tried to keep it together as she sat on the plane, but looked like she was about to burst into tears. When Britney arrived back California, she went almost directly to Ester's Hair Studio in Tarzana. When she arrived they were alredy closed for the day, but she was let in anyway. Britney sat down in the chair and told the owner "I want to shave my head" quite calmly. The owner tried to talk Britney out of it by saying she was going to regret it and it was just impulse. Britney wouldn't listen. She said she was sure and that she wanted it done now. The owner refused to shave Britney's head and so Britney did it herself, reportedly because she was "tired of being touched." After that Britney went to the Body and Soul tatto parlor and got two new inks, lips on her wrist and a cross on her hip. Sunday night Britney checked into the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, only to be found, photographed, and leave. Britney went to a lawyer's office in LA the day she left, for unknown resons, and then to Kevin's house to see her babies. Kevin would not let her in so Britney, very upset, went a tirade. She grabbed her mbrella and started hitting the paparazzi cars, but all now has been forgiven. Later that night, Britney checked back into Promises and has remained there to date.

What The Hair?!
Britney Joins "The Bald and the Beautiful"!
On Friday night, Britney visited a hair salon and ordered them to shave her head. The hair dresser was not going to do it, and asked repeatedly if Brit was sure. Britney would not take no for an answer, and, in the end, ended up taking the clipper and going to the back of the salon and shaving her whole head. There have been numerous reports that it seemed like Britney was far away and only there in body. The singer then went to a tattoo parlor and got two tattoos- a pair of red and pink lips on her wrist and a black, white, and pink cross on her lower hip. Since then, Brit reportedly went to the hospital, for an unknown reason, but left after only an hour, and was wearing a dark wig. She was also spotted at a pool in a short blonde wig, supposedly smoking nonstop and hanging out with dancer friends. Everyone is worried the star is about to hti rocks bottom, I guess we can only wait and see. As for photos, I will post some of the shaved head later, but none were taken at the hospital or pool.

News Of The World: BRITNEY Spears is close to breaking point and desperately trying to conquer her inner torment with marathon sex sessions, ex love Isaac Cohen has revealed.

In a world exclusive interview, the man who had been sharing her bed since her marriage to Kevin Federline fell apart, tells how her life is in tatters.

Worried Isaac revealed how she:
# MADE him dizzy romping on a revolving bed while watching themselves in the mirrored ceiling.
# STRIPPED naked and beckoned him to join her for an al-fresco romp in a moonlit Jacuzzi
# LOVED all night sex in her marital bed as her wedding dress hung framed on the wall outside
# CRUMBLED when the sex stopped, as she struggled to cope with a bitter divorce and the fear her children could be taken away.

Their whirlwind romance collapsed just a week ago and Britney, 25, has already found a new admirer.

But Isaac, also 25, said: "She loves sex and is incredibly adventurous. She was totally happy when we were locked in each other's arms. But once the sex stopped Britney was like a little girl lost, unable to cope.

"She would lie like a limp rag doll in my arms and and say, 'Why can't everyone leave me alone?' and, 'What have I done to deserve this?'"

Britney, who was first married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours before it was annulled, lasted a full two years with Kevin.

They have sons Sean Preston, one, and four-month-old Jayden James, but Britney grew tired of hearing rumours about Kevin's womanising.

In the weeks leading up to her first date with Isaac last December, Britney was branded a bad mum when she was photographed night after night partying until the early hours with new best friend Paris Hilton, 25.

And her family was horrified when she was photographed three times stepping out of cars knickerless.

Isaac said: "By the time I met Britney she was burnt out. She knew she had been drinking and partying as a way to try to banish the bad stuff from her life. Far from the trashy drunk, I saw a very shy, sweet girl who was just desperately sad about what had happened with her marriage.

"Yes she enjoyed Jack Daniel's but she was trying not to get in the state she had been in with Paris. Her boys mean everything to her and she worried she might lose them in a custody battle.

"It was clear she was not over her marriage. The first time she invited me to her home I saw her wedding dress hung on the wall in a glass box.

"As we made love that night it was like Kevin was in bed beside us. She had not even begun to move on with her life."

And so when Britney decided to clean up her act at an Arizona health spa, Isaac went along too.

He said: "She needed me to hold her and tell her what a beautiful girl she is. We would make slow love until the sun came up.

"She has an amazing body and I loved exploring every inch of it."

In January Britney surprised him by flying them to Las Vegas to stay at Hugh Hefner's exclusive Sky Villa in the Palms Hotel.

At a whacking £20,000 a night the two-storey suite has a rotating bed, with mirrored ceiling and an infinity Jacuzzi spa bath on the rooftop.

Isaac said: "Britney is not shy about her body so she slowly stripped off her clothes and beckoned me to join her under the stars in the pool.

"It was an amazing view over the Las Vegas strip. But we didn't stay long as we wanted to try out the bed.

"So we clambered on and I grabbed the remote and started it turning round and round. All the time as we made love we watched ourselves in the mirrored ceiling.

"It was amazing but we did it so many times it made us start to feel sick. We had to turn it off."

Britney was also racked with insecurities about her appearance, said Isaac. "Like any woman who has had two children she worried about her figure.

"As far as I was concerned she was gorgeous, but she had such low self esteem she sometimes would not listen.

"She would say, ‘Am I fat? Am I fat?' then spend hours dancing around the house trying to burn off calories.

"She was always jumping around.

"Other times, she got so low she didn't care what she looked like. She could not care less some days if she went out of the house without brushing her hair or checking to see if her outfit matched.

"That's just where she was in her life. She had so much on her plate with the children she had precious little time to worry about how she looked.

"It was around that time her aunt died and that totally devastated her. It was yet another blow.

"It was me she turned to for comfort and me who travelled to Louisiana for the funeral.

"I rarely saw Britney with any friends and during our time together I never saw her with Paris, it was like that was a part of her life she wanted to forget."

Chance

But it soon became clear that Isaac could not cope with the demands of Britney's troubled and hectic life.

And so last week, in an emotional phone call, the couple put an end to their six-week romance.

"I adore Britney and in a different place at a different time we might have stood a chance," said Isaac. "It was far too soon for her to get involved in a relationship with anyone.

"But she has coped with so much in her life I hope she does not give up now. She is too special for that."

During a recent interview on KISS FM (Pennsylvania), JC Chasez deffended his good friend, Britney, when a DJ bashed on her. Read on... JC Chasez: "She still is [the sweetest, nicest girl], man. She's got a great heart. She's going through something very difficult right now. I don't care who you are, divorces are never easy. [They're] never easy with two children involved. It's not easy [when everybody's watching every move she makes]; you can't be human. And the fact of the matter is I know plenty of 25-year-olds and 26-year-olds who are going out every night and [Britney's] not even going out every night! And for the last two years, she hasn't been able to do anything because she's had two kids within the past two years. So, you're talking about somebody who's 25 now who has not really left their house, really, and hasn't had any kind of freedom or liberties in the last two years. She's going through one of the most difficult processes in your life and that's a divorce. People are definitely shaking the finger at her going, "I can't believe you didn't wear underwear because da da da..." and I'm telling you right now she's not the only girl in the world [who doesn't wear underwear]. We've all made mistakes. If that is the worst mistake she makes, I think she's in good shape. She's given a lot of people in this world a reason to be happy with her music. She's made a lot of people happy, more than most people. She's already lived a fulfilling life."
Britney Won't Be On Letterman
According to a conversation with Ruben, formerly of World Of Britney, and Britney's management, she will not be on Letterman tonight, Monday the 5th. Whether it was cancelled or never set, I don't know. Hope to see her soon, none the less!!

Britney to attend Clive's pre-Grammy party
DailyNews.com: Music mogul Clive Davis shrugs over Jennifer Hudson's widely reported quotes in Essence magazine that she considered her stint on "American Idol" "abusive." Says the industry superpower, who has signed a number of "American Idol" personalities to his record label and served as a judge on the show, "I don't think she regrets `American Idol' at all. It gives an unknown artist unparalleled visibility."

However, "I didn't sign her from 'American Idol,' " notes Davis. "I signed her from her screen test for 'Dreamgirls.' A friend sent it to me, and I was blown away by her acting ability, by her doing a simple piano and voice version of the songs Effie sings in 'Dreamgirls' - her tremendous range and soulfulness. I called her in months ago, before 'Dreamgirls' was released. Now she's up for best supporting actress."

And he says he and Hudson expect to go into the studio to begin recording her album "somewhere between March 20 and April 1.

New videos: Britney in New York City
Britney Spears leaves her New York hotel casually dressed, looking tired and wearing little make-up amid a horde of photographers, before going to a midtown office building. When she arrives, there are angry confrontations between some photographers and Britney's bodyguard - he tries to have several paparazzi thrown out of the building as an alarmed-looking Britney watches as she waits to get in an elevator. Her security then gets two uniformed NYPD police officers to help out when she leaves, around an hour later. By this time Britney is wearing a coat and tries to hide her face with a large hood. She can be seen carrying a plastic cup holding a drink and is holding a book that Splash photographs show is called The Four Agreements : A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. She then gets in the car and can be seen (just, as it is very dark) looking upset and concerned. The car is then escorted away with the help of two NYPD cars.

Britney Spears returns from shopping at Duane Reade at nearly 3 AM on Sunday Morning. The megastar is asked who she thinks will win the Superbowl and she says very nicely to the camera "I'm not going to the Superbowl". Cameraman then says "Oh ok well have fun at fashion week", to which Spears replies "I'm going to a play." cameraman asks which play, and Britney replies "It's called Wicked" as she enters the hotel and each say have a good night to each other. The pop princess appeared in the street with very knotty, jet black hat and and her stomach popping out of her shirt in the freezing cold weather and with no security in the wee hours in New York City.

Britney to be on David Letterman Monday
According to a member of BritneySpearsForum.com, Summer Days, who knows someone working for CBS, Britney's people apparently booked a car space since she's set to appear on the show, Monday. Britney will reportedly address the different rumors and talk about upcoming projects. Note that this same person also confirmed her appearance back in November.

Britney: Being single is 'awesome'
People.com: Britney Spears doesn't miss being married. When asked in New York on Friday how she likes being single, the pop star, who filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on Nov. 7, told PEOPLE: "It's awesome."

Spears grabbed the spotlight Friday while at the fashion show for Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons and KLS Collection Fall 2007, which was held at the Roseland Ballroom in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Wearing a slinky black spaghetti-strapped dress and black peek-a-boo pumps, Spears posed for photographers upon her arrival, and was escorted to her front-row seat just moments before the show started.

As the models strutted on an elevated stage wearing sexy tweed outfits, double-breasted winter coats and big fur hats for the show entitled "From Russia with Love," Spears chatted at times with her assistant. She applauded with the rest of the crowd when model Alek Wek flaunted a colorful halter dress that dragged on the floor in the back but was a mini-dress in the front. "Oh my god," said Spears.

After the show, Spears told PEOPLE of the collection: "It was amazing."

Kimora Lee Simmons, who was backstage after the show, said of Spears: "Sometimes she gets a hard rap...[But] she is a very talented girl."

Britney is in New York City?
PerezHilton.com: She began the week in Los Angeles, then she spent some time in Las Vegas, and now sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears is in New York City.

And, yes, she finally is getting her act together!

Britney and Kevin will continue sharing custody
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will continue to share custody of their two young sons this month, following the terms of a January custody agreement, Federline's attorney confirmed Thursday.

That agreement has been temporarily extended for February, said publicist Michael Sands, speaking on behalf of Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Spears, 25, agreed last month to temporary joint custody of 1-year-old Sean Preston and almost 5-month-old Jayden James. Per the terms of that agreement, Federline will continue to be allowed to visit the children at Spears' home from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Spears filed for divorce from Federline in November after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Aspiring rapper Federline, 28, counter-filed, seeking spousal support and custody of the children.

UsMagaazine.com: Britney Spears' current rehab stint has already had one positive outcome -- Kevin Federline's transformation into Super Dad.

A source close to the former back-up dancer says he's currently put his life on hold while he works overtime to care for his two sons (Sean Preston, 17 months, and 5-month-old Jayden James) and bring his family back together.

"He's devastated and cries all the time," a source close to Federline, 28, tells Us. "Kevin wants to get back together with her. He is her biggest supporter."

The former Mr. Spears may be Mr. Responsible now, but he wasn't always the picture of perfect fatherdom. In the days before Sean Preston was born, Federline was seen partying and smoking marijuana in L.A. and Las Vegas.

But his experiences with Spears seems to have transformed him. And he might be helping the pop star get back on track, too.

It was at least partially at his urging that Spears entered rehab at the Crossroads Center on the island of Antigua. And when she checked out a day later, Federline and Spears's mom, Lynne, took the drastic step of taking her children away from her. Federline reportedly told her she couldn't see her sons again until she went to rehab.

It's unclear how Brit will fare in all this, but one thing is clear: K-Fed is emerging as much more than a punchline for late night TV fodder.

Is It Post-partum Depression?
I have information here from two different news sources talking about what may be Britney's underlying cause.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears’ troubles may have little to do with substance abuse. Sources say doctors at her rehab facility think the underlying reason for her trouble may be post-partum depression.
Sources tell TMZ that Britney’s doctors have two operating theories — either that she suffers from post-partum depression or bipolar disorder. The doctors strongly believe post-partum is the problem.

As for substance abuse, as one source says, “No doubt about it - she likes to drink.” But doctors believe the drinking is a way Spears has coped with a bigger problem.
We’re told Britney, who is sticking it out at the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, is currently reading Brooke Shields’ book, “Down Came the Rain,” in which Shields reveals her battle with post-partum depression.
We’re told doctors believe Spears’ problem is complicated by an intense feeling on her part that she has lost control of her life.
E! Online.com: A source close to Federline told E! Online that he had shared his belief with friends that Spears changed dramatically after she became a mother. "He feels like Britney never was the same after she had their kids," the source said. "Even after the first baby, she had wild mood swings and her temper would go off at the drop of a hat." "It got worse after her second pregnancy. Kevin didn't want another baby so soon, not because he didn't want more kids, but because her temper was so unstable when she was pregnant," the source continued. "After she came home from the hospital the second time, she just seemed really unhappy all of the time. He said, 'Nothing made her happy anymore. She was just angry or sad all the time.'"

Experts have said that Spears' recent spate of erratic behavior could have been motivated by postpartum depression, which can set in anytime during the first year after birth and affects up to 80 percent of new mothers.

Britney Gets A Visit From Her Sons

Her two sons were chauffeured by a bodyguard and Britney's mom met up with the boys at the center when they arrived at 8:30 pm. Britney Spears' first husband Jason Alexander fears the pop superstar will end up like late actress/model Anna Nicole Smith if she doesn't curb her wild lifestyle.

The "Toxic" singer--who stunned fans when she shaved off her locks last week--checked into the Promises treatment center in Malibu, California, on Wednesday night after two failed attempts in the past week to seek counseling for her ongoing problems.

And Alexander, whose brief marriage to the 25-year-old was annulled 55 hours after tying the knot in Las Vegas in January 2004, is worried she will follow tragic Smith to an early grave if she doesn't complete her latest spell in rehab.

He says, "It freaked me out when I saw she had shaved off her hair--that was clearly a cry for help. The pictures have become increasingly disturbing. I have never said anything about Britney and drugs before but I am very, very concerned about her. I am really worried that she will wind up like Anna Nicole Smith and be found dead."

Alexander also thinks Spears needs to re-examine her life and go back to her Louisiana roots.

He adds, "She needs to knock herself down from the pedestal she thinks she is on and remember that she's just an old country girl. She needs a break from Hollywood. Her problem is she doesn't feel anyone wants her for herself--only for who she is.

Smith died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Feb. 8 at the age of 39. The cause of her death is still under investigation.

Britney High on Cocaine for 72 Hours Straight
Britney Spears' first husband has fuelled reports of the pop superstar's history of drug use--by confessing the pair once stayed awake for 72 hours, high on ecstasy and cocaine.

Alexander revealed he saw the full extent of Spears' recreational drug use when they celebrated the New Year in 2004.

He says, "We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake. Then we would take downers like Valium to come down and rest. Britney stayed up three days straight over New Year. I couldn't keep up.

"She definitely had a problem with dugs when we were together--and that was three years ago."

A Crazy Rehab Update!!
As I'm pretty sure y'all already know, Britney has had a crazy rehab week. She entered the Crossroads Centre in Antigua last week, and stayed for a bout two hours to check it out. She then checked herself in and out again in one day. She reportedly left because she was not given her any privacy from the other guests and could not even wear what she wanted to. Britney then returned to Florida nad almost missed her flight back to Malibu. When she got to the airport, ahe was told the door was closed and the walkway had been retreated. Britney begged to get on the plain so she could go home and see her boys. They let her on, but she had to fly in coach becuase the first class section was full. Reports say that Brit tried to keep it together as she sat on the plane, but looked like she was about to burst into tears. When Britney arrived back California, she went almost directly to Ester's Hair Studio in Tarzana. When she arrived they were alredy closed for the day, but she was let in anyway. Britney sat down in the chair and told the owner "I want to shave my head" quite calmly. The owner tried to talk Britney out of it by saying she was going to regret it and it was just impulse. Britney wouldn't listen. She said she was sure and that she wanted it done now. The owner refused to shave Britney's head and so Britney did it herself, reportedly because she was "tired of being touched." After that Britney went to the Body and Soul tatto parlor and got two new inks, lips on her wrist and a cross on her hip. Sunday night Britney checked into the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, only to be found, photographed, and leave. Britney went to a lawyer's office in LA the day she left, for unknown resons, and then to Kevin's house to see her babies. Kevin would not let her in so Britney, very upset, went a tirade. She grabbed her mbrella and started hitting the paparazzi cars, but all now has been forgiven. Later that night, Britney checked back into Promises and has remained there to date.

What The Hair?!
Britney Joins "The Bald and the Beautiful"!
On Friday night, Britney visited a hair salon and ordered them to shave her head. The hair dresser was not going to do it, and asked repeatedly if Brit was sure. Britney would not take no for an answer, and, in the end, ended up taking the clipper and going to the back of the salon and shaving her whole head. There have been numerous reports that it seemed like Britney was far away and only there in body. The singer then went to a tattoo parlor and got two tattoos- a pair of red and pink lips on her wrist and a black, white, and pink cross on her lower hip. Since then, Brit reportedly went to the hospital, for an unknown reason, but left after only an hour, and was wearing a dark wig. She was also spotted at a pool in a short blonde wig, supposedly smoking nonstop and hanging out with dancer friends. News Of The World: BRITNEY Spears is close to breaking point and desperately trying to conquer her inner torment with marathon sex sessions, ex love Isaac Cohen has revealed.

In a world exclusive interview, the man who had been sharing her bed since her marriage to Kevin Federline fell apart, tells how her life is in tatters.

Worried Isaac revealed how she:
# MADE him dizzy romping on a revolving bed while watching themselves in the mirrored ceiling.
# STRIPPED naked and beckoned him to join her for an al-fresco romp in a moonlit Jacuzzi
# LOVED all night sex in her marital bed as her wedding dress hung framed on the wall outside
# CRUMBLED when the sex stopped, as she struggled to cope with a bitter divorce and the fear her children could be taken away.

Their whirlwind romance collapsed just a week ago and Britney, 25, has already found a new admirer.

But Isaac, also 25, said: "She loves sex and is incredibly adventurous. She was totally happy when we were locked in each other's arms. But once the sex stopped Britney was like a little girl lost, unable to cope.

"She would lie like a limp rag doll in my arms and and say, 'Why can't everyone leave me alone?' and, 'What have I done to deserve this?'"

Britney, who was first married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours before it was annulled, lasted a full two years with Kevin.

They have sons Sean Preston, one, and four-month-old Jayden James, but Britney grew tired of hearing rumours about Kevin's womanising.

In the weeks leading up to her first date with Isaac last December, Britney was branded a bad mum when she was photographed night after night partying until the early hours with new best friend Paris Hilton, 25.

And her family was horrified when she was photographed three times stepping out of cars knickerless.

Isaac said: "By the time I met Britney she was burnt out. She knew she had been drinking and partying as a way to try to banish the bad stuff from her life. Far from the trashy drunk, I saw a very shy, sweet girl who was just desperately sad about what had happened with her marriage.

"Yes she enjoyed Jack Daniel's but she was trying not to get in the state she had been in with Paris. Her boys mean everything to her and she worried she might lose them in a custody battle.

"It was clear she was not over her marriage. The first time she invited me to her home I saw her wedding dress hung on the wall in a glass box.

"As we made love that night it was like Kevin was in bed beside us. She had not even begun to move on with her life."

And so when Britney decided to clean up her act at an Arizona health spa, Isaac went along too.

He said: "She needed me to hold her and tell her what a beautiful girl she is. We would make slow love until the sun came up.

"She has an amazing body and I loved exploring every inch of it."

In January Britney surprised him by flying them to Las Vegas to stay at Hugh Hefner's exclusive Sky Villa in the Palms Hotel.

At a whacking £20,000 a night the two-storey suite has a rotating bed, with mirrored ceiling and an infinity Jacuzzi spa bath on the rooftop.

Isaac said: "Britney is not shy about her body so she slowly stripped off her clothes and beckoned me to join her under the stars in the pool.

"It was an amazing view over the Las Vegas strip. But we didn't stay long as we wanted to try out the bed.

"So we clambered on and I grabbed the remote and started it turning round and round. All the time as we made love we watched ourselves in the mirrored ceiling.

"It was amazing but we did it so many times it made us start to feel sick. We had to turn it off."

Britney was also racked with insecurities about her appearance, said Isaac. "Like any woman who has had two children she worried about her figure.

"As far as I was concerned she was gorgeous, but she had such low self esteem she sometimes would not listen.

"She would say, ‘Am I fat? Am I fat?' then spend hours dancing around the house trying to burn off calories.

"She was always jumping around.

"Other times, she got so low she didn't care what she looked like. She could not care less some days if she went out of the house without brushing her hair or checking to see if her outfit matched.

"That's just where she was in her life. She had so much on her plate with the children she had precious little time to worry about how she looked.

"It was around that time her aunt died and that totally devastated her. It was yet another blow.

"It was me she turned to for comfort and me who travelled to Louisiana for the funeral.

"I rarely saw Britney with any friends and during our time together I never saw her with Paris, it was like that was a part of her life she wanted to forget."

Chance

But it soon became clear that Isaac could not cope with the demands of Britney's troubled and hectic life.

And so last week, in an emotional phone call, the couple put an end to their six-week romance.

"I adore Britney and in a different place at a different time we might have stood a chance," said Isaac. "It was far too soon for her to get involved in a relationship with anyone.

"But she has coped with so much in her life I hope she does not give up now. She is too special for that."
JC Chasez Defends Britney
During a recent interview on KISS FM (Pennsylvania), JC Chasez deffended his good friend, Britney, when a DJ bashed on her. Read on... JC Chasez: "She still is [the sweetest, nicest girl], man. She's got a great heart. She's going through something very difficult right now. I don't care who you are, divorces are never easy. [They're] never easy with two children involved. It's not easy [when everybody's watching every move she makes]; you can't be human. And the fact of the matter is I know plenty of 25-year-olds and 26-year-olds who are going out every night and [Britney's] not even going out every night! And for the last two years, she hasn't been able to do anything because she's had two kids within the past two years. So, you're talking about somebody who's 25 now who has not really left their house, really, and hasn't had any kind of freedom or liberties in the last two years. She's going through one of the most difficult processes in your life and that's a divorce. People are definitely shaking the finger at her going, "I can't believe you didn't wear underwear because da da da..." and I'm telling you right now she's not the only girl in the world [who doesn't wear underwear]. We've all made mistakes. If that is the worst mistake she makes, I think she's in good shape. She's given a lot of people in this world a reason to be happy with her music. She's made a lot of people happy, more than most people. She's already lived a fulfilling life."
Britney Won't Be On Letterman
According to a conversation with Ruben, formerly of World Of Britney, and Britney's management, she will not be on Letterman tonight, Monday the 5th. Whether it was cancelled or never set, I don't know. Hope to see her soon, none the less!!

Britney to attend Clive's pre-Grammy party
DailyNews.com: Music mogul Clive Davis shrugs over Jennifer Hudson's widely reported quotes in Essence magazine that she considered her stint on "American Idol" "abusive." Says the industry superpower, who has signed a number of "American Idol" personalities to his record label and served as a judge on the show, "I don't think she regrets `American Idol' at all. It gives an unknown artist unparalleled visibility."

However, "I didn't sign her from 'American Idol,' " notes Davis. "I signed her from her screen test for 'Dreamgirls.' A friend sent it to me, and I was blown away by her acting ability, by her doing a simple piano and voice version of the songs Effie sings in 'Dreamgirls' - her tremendous range and soulfulness. I called her in months ago, before 'Dreamgirls' was released. Now she's up for best supporting actress."

And he says he and Hudson expect to go into the studio to begin recording her album "somewhere between March 20 and April 1.

New videos: Britney in New York City
Britney Spears leaves her New York hotel casually dressed, looking tired and wearing little make-up amid a horde of photographers, before going to a midtown office building. When she arrives, there are angry confrontations between some photographers and Britney's bodyguard - he tries to have several paparazzi thrown out of the building as an alarmed-looking Britney watches as she waits to get in an elevator. Her security then gets two uniformed NYPD police officers to help out when she leaves, around an hour later. By this time Britney is wearing a coat and tries to hide her face with a large hood. She can be seen carrying a plastic cup holding a drink and is holding a book that Splash photographs show is called The Four Agreements : A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. She then gets in the car and can be seen (just, as it is very dark) looking upset and concerned. The car is then escorted away with the help of two NYPD cars.

Britney Spears returns from shopping at Duane Reade at nearly 3 AM on Sunday Morning. The megastar is asked who she thinks will win the Superbowl and she says very nicely to the camera "I'm not going to the Superbowl". Cameraman then says "Oh ok well have fun at fashion week", to which Spears replies "I'm going to a play." cameraman asks which play, and Britney replies "It's called Wicked" as she enters the hotel and each say have a good night to each other. The pop princess appeared in the street with very knotty, jet black hat and and her stomach popping out of her shirt in the freezing cold weather and with no security in the wee hours in New York City.

Britney to be on David Letterman Monday
According to a member of BritneySpearsForum.com, Summer Days, who knows someone working for CBS, Britney's people apparently booked a car space since she's set to appear on the show, Monday. Britney will reportedly address the different rumors and talk about upcoming projects. Note that this same person also confirmed her appearance back in November.

Britney: Being single is 'awesome'
People.com: Britney Spears doesn't miss being married. When asked in New York on Friday how she likes being single, the pop star, who filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on Nov. 7, told PEOPLE: "It's awesome."

Spears grabbed the spotlight Friday while at the fashion show for Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons and KLS Collection Fall 2007, which was held at the Roseland Ballroom in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Wearing a slinky black spaghetti-strapped dress and black peek-a-boo pumps, Spears posed for photographers upon her arrival, and was escorted to her front-row seat just moments before the show started.

As the models strutted on an elevated stage wearing sexy tweed outfits, double-breasted winter coats and big fur hats for the show entitled "From Russia with Love," Spears chatted at times with her assistant. She applauded with the rest of the crowd when model Alek Wek flaunted a colorful halter dress that dragged on the floor in the back but was a mini-dress in the front. "Oh my god," said Spears.

After the show, Spears told PEOPLE of the collection: "It was amazing."

Kimora Lee Simmons, who was backstage after the show, said of Spears: "Sometimes she gets a hard rap...[But] she is a very talented girl."

Britney is in New York City?
PerezHilton.com: She began the week in Los Angeles, then she spent some time in Las Vegas, and now sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears is in New York City.

And, yes, she finally is getting her act together!

Her time in Sin City was spent working - in the studio - and Brit Brit is expected to hit up a fashion show or two while she is in Manhattan during fashion weeks. Expect a new (much improved) "look" from the pop star to come!

Britney and Kevin will continue sharing custody
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will continue to share custody of their two young sons this month, following the terms of a January custody agreement, Federline's attorney confirmed Thursday.

That agreement has been temporarily extended for February, said publicist Michael Sands, speaking on behalf of Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Spears, 25, agreed last month to temporary joint custody of 1-year-old Sean Preston and almost 5-month-old Jayden James. Per the terms of that agreement, Federline will continue to be allowed to visit the children at Spears' home from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Spears filed for divorce from Federline in November after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Aspiring rapper Federline, 28, counter-filed, seeking spousal support and custody of the children.
