Organizing The Awseome Britney Media Page

I'm currently in the process of organizing the Awesome Britney Media page. It was previously all on one page and thus took a long time to load. It was also a pain to find things. I'm now organizing each sub-secton (Unreleased Songs, Commercials, Live Performances, Music Videos, etc) So far I have the Unreleased Songs and Commercial pages up. You can just go to the Awesome Britney Media page as normal and then click a link. I will try to the rest, or at least some of it, done tomorrow. Remember I am always adding media. I actually just added two songs today. I believe they were called "Heart" and "Little Me". Enjoy the page(s)!!

Britney At A Lakers Game

Britney Spears was at the Los Angles Lakers game tonight, March 30, wearing a black blouse and brown color toned hat. She was there with her cousin, who has been a great supporter post rehab. When Britney arrived at the Staples Center her ahir, now blonde and slightly curly, was down. She wore the same coat she has worn to her dance practices. When Britney left her hair was up in a pony. She was on her way to Bridge lounge for a thirty minute dinner. She looked amazing!

Britney's Album Is Still Due Out This Year

On Showbiz Tonight, Ken Baker from Us Weekly was on there, saying that Jive is still pushing for a fall release; and from he hears, the album is "very good" and in its final stages of being finished. They also mentioned people are fascinated with her and want to hear her music because she does have a story to tell. They also discussed some positive points of Britney's rehab. TMZ Was "Inaccurate"
After a five-hour meeting on Thursday afternoon with their lawyers, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline finally reached a divorce agreement, Usmagazine.com has learned.
"All parties signed a global settlement agreement on all issues concerning their marriage and custody of their two children [Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months]," said Michael Sands, spokesperson for Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
Details of the agreement haven't been released, but a source close to the negotiations tells Usmagazine.com that reports of a $1 million settlement and a "50/50" custody agreement are "inaccurate."
On the afternoon of March 29, Britney, 25, left her Beverly Hills home in a black Escalade with her bodyguard and arrived at her attorney Laura Wasser's Century City office building.
Federline, along with the couple's two children, arrived in a white Yukon 20 minutes later with two bodyguards and parked in in the underground garage in the same building.
At one point during the meeting, Kevin went outside to smoke a cigarette and was joined by Britney. "They had a 15-minute conversation," Sands said.
The pair split in November after a two-year marriage. Federline, 29, now lives in a Tarzana home, where the couple's children have been staying with their father ever since Spears entered rehab in February. The singer completed her program at the Promises treatment center in Malibu on March 20.

BRITNEY SPEARS' new dentist has urged Hollywood's paparazzi to leave his star client alone after witnessing photographers swarm her as she visited him for two teeth-whitening sessions this week (begs26MAR07). DR WILLIAM DORFMAN admits he still cannot believe what he saw as an army of snappers tried to get a shot of Spears' first dental visits since checking out of rehab last week (ends23MAR07). Dorfman tells US TV news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, "We checked her teeth. We did Zoom whitening. Everybody in Hollywood whitens their teeth. "C'mon give the kid a break! Just let her whiten her teeth." Dorfman has also cleared up a misunderstanding on Sunday (25MAR07), which left the media speculating about the pop star's health - after it appeared she checked into a Century City hospital. The dentist explains, "Britney came in here on Sunday. She had a tooth she wanted me to check. Unfortunately her driver accidentally went to the emergency room in Century City instead of my office. It's right in front." Dorfman insists Spears' two visits to his offices in the past five days were just routine: "I have to dispel any rumours; she is not having an extreme dental makeover."

TO be honest, it never started off very promisingly.

When BRIT proposed to back-up dancer KEV after a blink-and-you'll-miss-it romance in 2004, his former fiancé Shar Jackson was expecting his second child.

What's more, he couldn't even afford to buy his superstar girlfriend an engagement ring.

Still, we were prepared to give the former pizza delivery boy a chance - if only in the hope the troubled singer might find a smidge of happiness after the stresses of childhood fame.

But K-Fed quickly got on our nerves, squandering Brit's cash on cars and strippers, wearing ridiculous low-slung trousers and trying to launch a naff career as a rap singer.

When Britney she first fell pregnant it seemed - for a moment at least - the relationship might actually work out.

But when she managed to fall pregnant TWICE in 21 months while Kevin was constantly snapped out partying, things started going downhill quicker than K-Fed's pants.

Britney And Kevin’s Divorce

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline reached a divorce settlement Thursday, PEOPLE has learned.

After a five-hour session with Federline and his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan and Spears and her representatives, "the parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children," Kaplan's spokesman Michael Sands tells PEOPLE.

The deal, worked out in the Los Angeles offices of Spears's attorney Laura Wasser, comes just days after Spears left rehab on March 20. The terms were not revealed.

Spears and Federline wed in September 2004 in a suprise cermony and soon settled into a Malibu mansion.

The couple had two sons, Sean Preston in September 2005 and Jayden James almost a exactly a year later.

Not long after their second son was born, trouble signs appeared in their marriage, with Spears missing many of Federline's promotional appearances for his poorly received hip-hop album Playing With Fire.

Spears filed for divorce on Nov. 7, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences. In a temporary agreement, Spears had custody of the boys with three days of visitation for Federline.

Britney began months of hard-partying in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, hooking up for a time with Paris Hilton. Spears initially defending her partying as long-overdue fun , but by January, her manager acknowledged she was having a rocky moment.

After a wild weekend in which she shaved her head, Spears entered rehab at Promises in Malibu, where she stayed for about four weeks. Federline, who watched the boys during her treatment, declined to return custody to Spears until he was satisfied with her follow-through to rehab, a source says.

Divorce is finalized
"TMZ has learned Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a settlement in their divorce.

Sources say that under the terms, K-Fed will walk away with around $1 million. As for their two kids, we're told Britney and Kevin will have joint custody, sharing physical custody 50/50. The divorce will be final, with a judge's signature, very soon.

In the past, when Laura Wasser, Britney's lawyer, has settled a high-profile divorce, the parties file a "skeletal judgment," which mean the specific terms will be omitted from the public documents."

Britney's Dentist Talks to ET
The dentist who treated BRITNEY SPEARS earlier this week is opening up to ET.

DR. BILL DORFMAN confirms that while Brit was not in to see him today, she did visit for routine dental work and teeth whitening earlier this week. The doc is the pop princess' regular dentist, and he says, "Britney is just trying to get a normal life back together, she's being a mom, going to the dentist, getting her teeth whitened like everyone else in Hollywood -- she's as happy as could be."

The doc tells us that the pop star didn't bring her kids.

UPDATE: How's this for a twist? Spears' lawyer, Laura Wasser, has offices right across the street from the hospital. And K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has offices right next door to Wasser. So did Spears and K-Fed go to their lawyers -- not the hospital -- to hammer out a settlement? As TMZ first reported, a settlement is definitely near.

Britney Back at Century City Hospital?
There are conflicting reports over whether Britney Spears has gone back to a hospital complex for a third time in less than a week.

She's been there twice this week, at the dental offices of "dentist to the stars," Dr. Bill Dorfman. Dr. Dorfman, who was featured on "Extreme Makeover," was treating Spears for a painful molar.

Now there are reports that Spears is back for a third time, this time reportedly with K-Fed and the kids in tow. TMZ just got off the phone with Dr. Dorfman, who says Spears is definitely not in his offices nor has she been there at all today.

Britney Sees Her Kids, Then The Dentist
Britney Spears’ kids (and their nanny) visited for a bit on Wednesday, but their mommy soon ducked out, leaving them at her Beverly Hills home to go to the dentist.

Sean, 1 1/2, and Jayden, 6 months, hung out at mom’s house on Tuesday and were driven back to Kevin Federline’s Tarzana home at 7:30 p.m. by a bodyguard in a white Yukon. Federline, 29, has held physical custody of the children since Spears entered rehab last month and is fighting to keep them in his care.

A bodyguard returned the kids (along with their nanny), to Spears, 25, at around noon Wednesday.

But the dentally challenged pop star quickly popped out for more than two hours, leaving the kids home with the nanny.

What could be more important than time with the kids? Getting her teeth whitened. According to Access Hollywood, Brit visited a celebrity dentist at Century City Doctors Hospital to have the Zoom whitening treatment done on those famed Louisiana chompers.

The New Layout Is Here!!
I just finished putting up the new layout, and I think it is amazing! I did the new background about a week ago, but the pictures are what really make the page. The ones that were up here before were just random things I found on the net. This is an actual design and I am very proud of it. I made it in record time, I must say, but I think it's amazing. It might not look as much like others sites' home pages, butt his is Wetpaint, so everything is set up different. I hope everyone likes the new design. Enjoy!!

Britney was back in the dance studio for the third time in four days today so is she a believer in Bustin-A-Move or is she worshipping another god? With Kabbalah book in hand, crucifix around her neck, and a visit yesterday to a Presbyterian church, it seem Britney's certainly searching for something. see the pics here

P.S. I'm not sure if you can really mix religions like this, but at least she's spiritual again. I love Britney, but it's a lot better than the "My baby is my religion" post last May. Honestly, that worried me. Now she is on the right path and seeking God!


Britney Dancing Again!!
Britney was at Millenium Dance Studio again last night taking another hip hop class! I'm so glad to see she's already getting back on task. I love the outfit she is wearing here, it really shows off the work she's been doing! As for that same coat, I don't know. It's very un-Britney-like. I do like the designs on the sleeve though. Oh, admit it, the woman looks amazing!



Will Justin Save Britney?
Justin Timberlake is a nice guy. That’s pretty plain to see by his lack of bad press and the boy band image he just can’t seem to shake. And nice guys are hard to find. So when Britney Spears started falling apart, it wasn’t surprising that Justin was there for her.
Now Justin is in talks to record a single with Spears. Timberlake is confident that the record can help rebuild her faltering pop career and get her back to the top of the charts.

A source said: “Britney was extremely touched that Justin had been in contact. Going into the studio is Justin’s way of helping her get better.”
The pair are planning to visit a Los Angeles recording studio this week with producer Timbaland to re-record the Motown classic ‘You’re All I Need to Get By’, originally a hit for Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in 1968.
Earlier this month, Timbaland approached Justin to plead for him to help propel Britney back to the top of the charts. He said: “I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney ? Would you do it with me?’ He said he would.”
This could be the first step in restoring some normalcy to Britney’s life. She just bought a house for $9.2 million, including an extra million dollars in order that she occupy the property immediately. She wants stability and with good friends like Justin surrounding her, she has a great chance at getting back to normal.

ThatOtherBlog Reports: I just have to give credit where it’s due! Britney Spears has not looked this good in years! I have learned that she lost at least 10 lbs. during her stay at Promises and was treated to several spa treatments which included the cleansing of her skin and body which released several toxins from her system.

If you haven't noticed in recent pictures, Britney is looking amazing!! She is quite slim and even her face is clearing up! Britney is busy getting her life back on track and she is apparently doing a great job! Britney's wig even looks perfectly natural. Plus, she wasn't very heavy when she wore her dress the first time, seen below, and so she is obviously much thinner now! Amazing job Brit!!

The dress Britney was spotted in at Victoria's Secret, church, and Barefoot Restaurant is the same one that she wore back in 2006! If you look at the way it fits now compared to then (Much Better) you can see that Britney is obviously in better shape!

In today's Memo Pad, Slick Willie comes out in favor of Boston Legal ("[t]he chemistry between William Shatner and James Spader is something to behold!") and everyone's favorite chrome-dome, Britney Spears. Plus, in addition to admitting that he "likes" Brit (possibly referring to her music, more likely referring to her televised smooch with Madonna) Clinton denounces the tabloids for their relentless coverage of Spears' lifestyle and defends the obviously troubled mother of two.

Victoria’s Secret, Lunch, And A Toothache
Britney out an about around 2 pm earlier today eating at Barefoot and shopped at Victoria's Secret in Beverly Hills, where the first photo was snapped. The second is believed were she is seen leaving Century City Hospital through a underground parking garage at 6:25 PM pacific and appears to be headed home. X17 described her mood as "happy and upbeat." More photos and a video will be up later on.

Britney’s Newfound Religion?
Is it time for Britney Spears to return to her Christian roots to keep clean and on a path of the straight and narrow? Many have long believed that Britney lost her way when she latched on to Madonna. Since then she has seemingly hopped from religion to religion and on Sunday was reportedly in Church. Covering her still shaved head with a hat and a dark wig and wearing sunglasses, Britney was off for a Sunday morning church visit. Perhaps that whole rehabilitation and treatment has worked for Britney and she has decided to seek religion again. According to a report from Hollyscoop, Britney Spears' morning started with a morning service at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church on Mulholland Drive.

Photographers were everywhere and there are tons of photos of the new and fresh Britney. Hollyscoop has some here and muses, " The bright side to all of this is that it seems that Britney is wearing better quality wigs now."

X17 XCLUSIVE - Britney's Sexy Shopping Trip
Britney had a fun shopping trip, picking up an aqua colored push-up bra, a matching baby-doll nightie, a leopard-print bra, and a few other pieces at Victoria's Secret today in Beverly Hills. Brit was looking happy as ever and back to her old self, which leads us to believe her trip to the hospital later in the day really was much ado about nothing.
Earlier in the day, before her sinful purchases later in the afternoon, Britney went to a Presbyterian church service in Bel Air.
Then after shopping at Victoria's Secret, she went to lunch at Barefoot in Beverly Hills around 1 pm with her cousin Alli (and no one else, according to our photographers -- contrary to other reports that say she was with an AA sponsor).
After lunch, the two went home; Britney then left for the hospital around 4:30 pm and left the Century City medical center around 6:30 pm.
Brit and Alli then went back to Britney's place and had the bodyguard bring in Jerry's Deli and two videos from Blockbuster.


Britney’s Weekend Recap
LOS ANGELES (March 25, 2007) -- A doctor's visit by Britney Spears sparked a media frenzy this evening when it was reported the singer was headed for the emergency room.

Gossip blog sites reported earlier this evening that a bodyguard had taken Spears to an ER at Century City Doctor's Hospital.

However, a source close to the singer told Access Hollywood, the Internet reports were false. The pop star, who recently left rehab, was making a weekend visit to a dentist, the source said. They also noted Spears' family was "freaked out" by the original Internet reports.
"This is getting so ridiculous," her manager, Larry Rudolph, told Access Hollywood. "Every time she sneezes it's front page news. Everyone needs to just leave her alone right now and give her some space."

It was reported that cops were forced to swarm the area for crowd control due to a host of paparazzi visiting the hospital, but Access Hollywood found none at the scene.

Spears has had a fairly normal weekend since leaving rehab, working, eating and attending to personal business.

On Friday she was spotted at Millennium Dance Complex, before traveling to a sushi restaurant for dinner. She followed that up Saturday with a trip to have her nails done at Epitome Salon.

We're not sure if perhaps Britney was just visiting someone of if she herself was admitted. I noticed on the new Britney post-promises pictures you said you wondered what she was doing there. Well Blake from So You Think You Can Dance, Dance Life on MTV, and of course back up dancer to Britney Spears, was teaching a masters class there. My friends that got to go said that people weren't even focused on Blake they were all asking Britney questions and giving her hugs and stuff. They were so supportive to her. Britney’s First Post-Rehab Outing


In her first public appearance since rehab, Britney Spears stepped out to take a dance class and have sushi dinner with her girlfriends.

Spears left home Friday night to take a one-hour hip-hop class at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood – this after laying low since checking out of Malibu's Promises treatment facility on Tuesday.

Wearing nude fishnet stockings with dance boots, black hot pants, a black long-sleeved shirt and baseball cap over her dark brown wig, Spears arrived with her assistant as well as two bodyguards to take a 7 p.m. advanced-level hip-hop class with instructor Darrien Henning.

"The minute she walked in, she basically lit up the room," Henning told PEOPLE. "I had no idea she was coming, so I was shocked."

Spears, whom Henning described as looking "fantastic," quietly took a spot in the back of the about 30-person class held at the studio's 12,000-sq.-ft. "Dome." "She did the choreography really well, Henning said, adding, "In fact, she came in and nailed it."

And the pop star's presence in class seemed to serve as an inspiration: "All my students tried harder to get on their game," Henning observed.

Returning to the dance studio is a homecoming of sorts for the pop star, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, who counts Spears as one of his star clients. "She also comes in to scope talent," Baker told PEOPLE. "More than once she's hired our teachers to choreograph for her."

And true to form, the pop star stuck around after class to watch a master class from the VIP lounge.

Spears next headed to Bel Air fusion Japanese eatery SHU Sushi House Unico to meet up with three girlfriends around 10 p.m. The four women dined at a table near a window at the front of the restaurant, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Upon leaving, the pop star smiled at waiting photographers and gave a friendly wave before heading home alone at about 11:30 p.m.

NYDailyNews.com: LONDON - It's tough being Britney: She's out of rehab just one day and already siccing her lawyers on a blabbermouth ex-husband and other evil gossip-peddlers on two continents.


The twitchy 12-stepper, who left Promises drug and alcohol treatment center in Malibu on Wednesday, has her lawyers in London and Los Angeles fighting to save her reputation.

Or what's left of it after last month's head shaving and umbrella attack on the paparazzi, and the panty-less private-parts shots seen round the world.

The main target of Britney's ire is Jason Alexander, the childhood pal she was married to for just 55 hours in 2004.

Alexander "has been peddling false, defamatory and outrageous stories" and "selling and exploiting private and confidential information about Ms. Spears to the media for money and notoriety," Spears' L.A. lawyer Martin Singer wrote the Daily News. Alexander is violating a confidentiality agreement that he signed, the letter charges.

Last month Alexander told the Sunday Mirror, a British tabloid, that Spears had engaged in drug use and lesbian romps, saying that he wanted to reveal the truth about her so she didn't "wind up like Anna Nicole Smith." The Louisiana lothario could not be reached for comment yesterday.

At the same time, Spears' attorneys from the Schillings law firm in London obtained a High Court injunction yesterday to restrain a "John Doe" from invading her privacy by providing information about her time in rehab to the British press.

Clarissa Amato, a lawyer at Schillings, said the firm did not know the identity of the leaker but had asked the court to order British newspapers to disclose their sources.

Spears is also in a divorce battle with her current hubby, Kevin Federline, the father of her two young kids. The couple are wrangling over who gets the kids and just how much of her multimillion-dollar fortune he's entitled to.

Save Britney, Save the World
There is no escaping the ever widening web of the fall of Britney Spears, but are we the spider or the fly?

Everywhere you look the last few weeks there has been no escaping the media frenzy surrounding the pop star. Major news has been sidelined in favor of the latest "Britney Buzz." Has she lost her mind? Are her kids safe? Are any of us safe?

In a world of disposable pop icons, Spears has risen to the top and we were all there to watch. From her "Mickey Mouse Club" days to her two marriages made in tabloid heaven, we have all been along for the ride with the former Mouseketeer.

Now it seems like the world is turning against Spears like a pack of jackals ripping apart the carcass of a fallen antelope.

If you do a Google search on the name Britney and rehab, you get 4,470,000 hits. While the entertainment website TMZ.com has 356 stories featuring Spears, nearly 100 more than American Idol and fellow tabloid vixen Lindsay Lohan. On the video Web site YouTube.com, a "FOX News" piece on Spears cutting her hair has gotten more than 60,000 views.

So complete was the media coverage on Spears' shaved head, that it was featured as the top story on every major news television program, and her cut off locks of hair were going for thousands of dollars on eBay.

But before we break out the torches and pitchforks, perhaps we should find the real monsters.

I don't think Spears is viewing her news piece more than 60,000 times, or bidding for her own hair. Our obsession with celebrity culture has helped create this mess. If we didn't buy the magazines or watch the tabloid TV, then it wouldn't be news and it wouldn't bring in the big bucks.

Maybe, just maybe we should all step away from our MySpace pages and stop blogging long enough to look at the image of a woman going through a crisis. If we can replace our thirst for gossip and celebrity with compassion and understanding, then perhaps we can save Britney Spears and save ourselves in the process.

With all the controversy surrounding Britney Spears' breakdown and recovery, attention has been drawn to Tanya Tucker regarding the similarities in her life and career.

Similarities so much, that even Britney's father has reached out to Tanya. On Saturday, March 24th, FOX News will feature Tanya in a primetime special titled "Britney Spears: Toxic Exposure."

Britney Is All Anyone Can Talk About
Britney Spears may actually be one of the smartest business women in the world. Her recent antics have left her in the best position for the music industry's biggest comeback in history. Think about it. Britney Spears has nowhere to go but up. She's positioned herself perfectly within the media so that people will be so intrigued when she makes her comeback that she will continue to sell millions of records despite her struggles these past few months.

Since Britney started her downwards tumble over the past few months, she's got support from millions of fans, not to mention Hollywood insiders like Brooke Shields, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Britney is all anyone can talk about - even when she's trying to stay out of the limelight. For some reason, people everywhere are intrigued by Britney and can't wait to see what she's going to do next.
So what is she going to do next? Well, right before the 25 year old pop star entered rehab she was in the studio recording her next album. Chances are, she will return to the studio to complete the album which is apparently still set to be released later this year. All Britney has to do now is work out for about a month, grow her hair back and make the biggest comeback performance ever. Needless to say, not too many people will be shocked when it happens.

Britney’s Court Injunction
Singer Britney Spears has been granted a High Court injunction preventing the British press from printing allegations about her recent stay in rehab.
The order is directed at those deemed responsible for leaking details about Ms Spears' stay at a US clinic.
The pop star "intends to challenge false allegations that have already been published," a statement from her London lawyers said.
The 25-year-old left a California treatment centre earlier this week. 'False allegations'
Ms Spears' legal representatives are also applying for an additional court order requiring UK publications to disclose the sources of their stories detailing her one-month program at the Promises clinic in Malibu.
Media outlets are being served the injunction "so as to assist them in not making the mistake of carrying out such further disclosures if approached by this person," the legal statement continued.
Ms Spears has already mounted a legal challenge concerning "false allegations" which have already been disseminated.
The 25-year-old's manager, Larry Rudolph, asked the press to respect her privacy when she left the facility.
The Promises clinic's website states it is one of the world's leading centers for "inpatient treatment to alcoholics and addicts hooked on prescription or illegal drugs".
Ms Spears entered the clinic on 22 February after sparking concerns amongst fans when she shaved her head in public.

There's good news for the troubled pop tart. With an estimated net worth of $100 million, Britney can easily afford the $48,000 bill for her month-long stay at one of the nation's poshest rehab centers.

Though her fortune will be slightly dented by an expected seven-figure payoff to Federline, she'll still have enough to cover almost a lifetime of treatment at the $1,600-a-night Promises Center in Malibu, Calif.

But the star - who not too long ago was on top of the music world - would be wise not to hang up her microphone for too long.

"The best thing Britney can do right now is take some time away for herself and make a great record," says Joe Levy, executive editor of Rolling Stone magazine.

"The old saw is that she's just one hit away from a comeback. Side by side is the saying that there's no such thing as bad publicity."

The drop in sales of her previous albums doesn't necessarily mean she has fallen from favor, because record sales have declined across the board, says Levy. "I think it is still possible for her to run her business."

Britney Pulls A Fast One ExtraTV.com: As Britney Spears quietly checked out of rehab in Malibu Tuesday night, she used a decoy to attend an AA meeting in the L.A. suburb of Topanga.

That’s right. Fresh out of rehab, the pop princess is already tricking the pesky paparazzi to enjoy her sobered freedom since checking out of the Promises treatment center.

And now “Extra" has this plea from Brit's aunt, Chandra McGovern, about Spears' next step.

"In my opinion, she should come home," her aunt suggested. "Take a break, get out of the cameras, get out of the media, just take a break. Come back home; stay at her home in Kentwood."

Britney's aunt spoke with us alongside the pop princess' cousin Miranda by her side on their Mississippi porch, and dished that at one point things were so bad that Brit's family feared she would self-destruct.

"That was my first thought; worried about if she was going to drug overdose or get in a car accident, or what was going to happen because of her wild behavior," Chandra said.

After several failed attempts, Chandra is encouraged that Brit was able to spend an entire month in rehab. "The continuous partying and the abuse that she's doing, and the half nudity the way she's dressing and showing herself... it's not good," her aunt pointed out.

And only "Extra" got this reaction to Brit's release from rehab from a source close to Brit's ex, Kevin Federline, who claims he's "not about to return the kids as a reward for completing rehab. She'll have increased custody as long as she demonstrates she's living life with the best interests of her children."

Once Britney's family is in order she'll be able to focus on a career comeback.

And the man in charge of that comeback is four time Grammy nominee Sean Garrett, who told "Extra" that Britney expressing herself may help her to find herself again.

"I'll let her tell the story that she wants to be told to the world," Garrett dished. "Basically my job is to just give her hit records."

And as her aunt expressed, the world is willing to forgive and forget Britney's mistakes and more than ready for Brit to reign as pop princess once again.

"We go through the excitement and the disappointments of her doing good, or oh she's gone wild now," her aunt shared. "But she's still Britney here; everybody still loves her."

Britney's Divorce Settlement?
TOB reported that Britney has come to an out of court divorce settlement with her soon to be ex-husband Kevin Federline.The divorce deal is said to be worth nearly $13 million dollars. The deal includes one up front lump payment of $2 million dollars, half of the money Britney Spears earned during the couple’s two-year marriage and half of the price that their marital home in Malibu sells for. The deal also includes an agreement to share custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
It is rumoured though not confirmed that Britney will have primary custodyof the children with Kevin having full visitation rights.

Britney’s Rehab Journey And Release It took a couple of false starts, not to mention a shaved head, but Britney Spears has "successfully completed" her stay in her rehab.
The pop star checked out of the Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility on Tuesday, her manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records.
Spears, 25, entered the facility for the long haul on Feb. 22, after first checking in on Feb. 20, then back out a day later. She also spent a day at the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, but again left within 24 hours.
The third time around, she stuck with the program.
"Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program," Rudolph said, asking that the singer's privacy be respected.
An unnamed friend told People magazine Spears was "doing fine" post-rehab.
According to Tina Dirmann of E! Online's Planet Gossip show, the singer may not settle back into her Malibu abode for long, as her mother has been pressuring her to come home to Kentwood, Louisiana, where the paparazzi attention will be less intense.
Spears is apparently considering the Kentwood option, though she is reportedly more interested in staying in Los Angeles to see where things go with her estranged husband, Kevin Federline, Dirmann said.
The singer's most recent rehab stint was allegedly motivated by Federline's threat to initiate a custody battle over their two sons if she did not get help. Once Spears agreed to enter treatment and stay there, Federline reportedly agreed to drop his court action.
Under the terms of a temporary court order, Spears has custody of 19-month-old Sean Preston and 7-month-old Jayden James, with visitation rights for Federline. During Spears' month-long stay in rehab, Federline cared for the boys with help from his mother and Spears' mother and brought them to visit on several occasions.
Reports have suggested that Spears' time in rehab may have brought the splitting couple closer together. However, should the relationship sour once again, experts have speculated that courts will look positively upon the pop star's decision to seek treatment.
"This is great news for Britney's custody case—if in fact she has fully completed the program at Promises and she doesn't have a relapse," family law attorney Josh Forman said Wednesday. "Courts tend to allow a good parent to make mistakes as long as they properly address them and do not have any more relapses.
"I believe the public at large and Britney and Kevin are just in the wait and hope phase right now," Forman added.
Though Spears has never publicly disclosed what she was specifically seeking treatment for at Promises, speculation ranged from alcohol and drug abuse to postpartum depression.
That the pop princess' 30-day stay at the treatment facility was shorter than the typical 45-day stay endorsed by Promises may or may not have something to do with reports that she was a less than ideal patient and had difficulty adjusting to the program.
"Britney has a seriously bad attitude problem," a rehab "insider" told Star magazine recently. "She's been very demanding, acts like a 12-year-old and throws temper tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants!"
As relatively luxurious as the $48,000-a-month facility may be, it didn't live up to Spears' standards, the source said.
"She refuses to pick up after herself and even asked if she could hire a maid!" the source told Star. "She's asking for this and that, special food, special everything—and she's not that nice to anyone. She has a serious entitlement problem." Us Weekly also reported bad behavior on Spears' part, citing a source who claimed the singer had been reprimanded for using her cell phone and leaving the facility to indulge in a little retail therapy.
However, Spears also left Promises on several occasions to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, field trips the facility supported.
Whether planned or not, her exit from the facility coincided with Federline's 29th birthday on Wednesday, a date the would-be rapper was planning to spend with his family, his rep said.
Federline had originally scheduled a birthday bash at West Hollywood nightclub Eleven Wednesday night, as well as a celebration at Las Vegas' Pure this weekend.
However, he called off the Los Angeles event this week, either due to a lack of sponsors (per the New York Post) or because he simply felt one party was enough (per his rep).
"Kevin is just focusing on his family right now," the rep told the New York Post. Of course, there's also a chance he simply didn't want his birthday party overshadowed by his estranged wife's emergence from rehab. And really, who could blame him?

Britney Spears has been released from the luxurious confines of the Promises treatment center; now her next step is to find a way to cope with life in the real world.
The former pop princess checked into the Malibu, Calif., rehab center last month after increasingly bizarre behavior that culminated in her shaving her head and railing against photographers.
Experts predict Spears will now have a tough road ahead of her. She will need her sober friends to rally around her, which should lessen the chance of a relapse, while her handlers must do their best to ensure that this episode ultimately provides a positive message to her army of young fans.
"A support network of the right people will be vital to Britney," Dr. Edward Dreyfus, a clinical psychiatrist, told ABC News.
And if her hair has grown back, there's a chance Spears could be tearing it out again because of the paparazzi frenzy that awaits her every move.
"Stars are treated like royalty by those who surround them, but often it's people who don't care about the person inside and are just trying to get their 10 or 15 percent," said Dreyfus.
With her release, Spears has been given details on nearby AA-style programs, which she attended while in rehab, and will be encouraged to stay in contact with a counselor at the clinic.
"The chance of relapse varies with each individual, but there's a fairly high risk of it," said Dr. Bruce Spring, an assistant professor in clinical psychiatry at the University of Southern California. "Factors such as personality, life situation and genetics all play their part, but if a patient's friends are addicts, then they're in trouble. Follow-up treatment is extremely important."
Maintaining focus is vital for those fresh out of rehab. Russ McDowell is program director at People in Progress, a clinic in North Hollywood, Calif. Though it is a very different environment from the plush surroundings of Promises, McDowell says that while media attention can exemplify stress, post-treatment recovery is no different for those in the limelight.

After nearly a month of seclusion in a luxurious rehabilitation center, Britney Spears has moved on. The pop star checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility "after successfully completing their program," Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement released by Jive Records late Tuesday.
He asked that Spears' privacy be respected.
Spears, 25, entered the facility Feb. 22 after a bout of bizarre behavior that included shaving her head, getting tiny lips tattooed on her wrist and beating a car with an umbrella. Photos of the incidents were beamed worldwide.
Spears' activities have been steady fodder for weekly magazines and entertainment Web sites since she filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline in November, citing irreconcilable differences.
Under a temporary agreement, the two have joint custody of their sons, Jayden James, 6 months, and Sean Preston, 18 months. Federline and the children reportedly visited Spears during her treatment.
Federline, who released his debut album in November, was celebrating his 29th birthday with his family Wednesday and then traveling to Las Vegas for a party Saturday at Pure Nightclub, said Federline's publicist, Marilyn Lopez. He originally had made plans for another bash Wednesday night in West Hollywood, but canceled that event.
"He just wanted to have one party instead of two and wanted to spend his actual birthday … with his family," Lopez said.
She declined to say if Federline was planning to see Spears on Wednesday.
Spears hasn't disclosed why she sought treatment at Promises, which offers detox, counseling and 12-step programs. A 30-day stay at the Mediterranean-style villa tucked in the Santa Monica Mountains costs $48,000.
With her stay there, Spears joined a long list of celebrities who have trekked to the facility to overcome addictions. Promises alumni include Ben Affleck, Charlie Sheen, Diana Ross and Matthew Perry.

TMZ.com: TMZ has learned Britney Spears will be leaving rehab this week, and she has made one of the most amazing turnarounds in celebrity memory.

Sources say Britney and soon-to-be ex Kevin Federline had an "amazing meeting" on Sunday. They are not only getting along, they are hammering out the terms of custody. We're told when Britney gets out, she and Kevin have agreed to a 50/50 split with physical custody of their two children. The plan is for Britney to eventually gain primary custody and Kevin will have visitation.

In the new EW, it says Britney has worked with Dr. Luke and Max Martin on the new album. It has them listed separately, too, like Pharrell is listed in between them. Interesting, huh.

Is Britney Worried About Bankrupcy?
Britney Spears is facing bankruptcy after spending a staggering $21 million (GBP11 million) in the past two years, according to a British newspaper. The troubled pop princess is currently being treated for a substance abuse problem at California's Promises rehab clinic. The Daily Star alleges Spears is "scared to death" of the financial situation she faces when she leaves the centre, after spending two thirds of her $32 million (GBP16.5 million) fortune. A family friend is quoted by the newspaper, saying, "She has to concentrate on staying sober, but she can't do that if she has to worry about going broke - which is exactly what she thinks will happen."

My opinion- I'm sorry, but Britney seriously has nothing to worry about. If you have 6 million you're really well off. And according to thgis article, she had only $32 million. I think she has much more than that. And as for spending $21 million in the last year, I personally think that was the work of Kevin!

Will Britney Stay Sober?
With Britney Spears' discharge date looming, the question remains: Is she ready to leave rehab?

Usmagazine.com talks to Clare Waismann, a registered addiction specialist and executive director of the Waismann Method, to find out if the singer is ready to make a fresh start.

Although Waismann has never personally treated Spears, she suggests steps that can be taken to prevent a relapse.

Us: Once Britney leaves her rehab facility, what are some of the next steps required for a successful recovery?
CW: "I believe that she's going to need a wonderful psychiatrist who can chemically balance her. [I think] Britney has a long history of depression that has been misdiagnosed."

Us: If depression is the issue, what would a doctor recommend?
CW: "Keep her on a great anti-depressant and make sure her hormone level is stable. Because of all of her diets, pregnancies and her depression, she seems completely imbalanced.”

Us: Recently Kevin Federline has stepped up to the plate and assumed the supportive father role. How important is he as a support system?
CW: "He's supporting her as a father [to their children] and a husband and that's the best support she can get right now."

Us: How long does it typically take someone in Britney's situation to get back on track?
CW: "It could take six months to a year. This time she will be very frail, not just mentally but chemically as well..Her body the last three years has gone through ups and downs with pregnancies and diets and divorces. All those things can cause chemical imbalances. She needs probably a year away from everything and everybody so she can at least stabilize herself.

Us: Speaking from your experiences, do you think she has much of a chance of relapse? Or will she be able to turn her life around and have the career she once had?
CW: "It's going to take a lot of intervention from her family, who are her biggest supporters right now. She's got to stay away from the business for a while to find herself. Simplicity will give her the simple pleasures that make our lives worthwhile.

Us: Is she more prone to relapse because she's a public figure?
CW: "Absolutely."

Us: How would you advise someone in her situation to move forward?
CW: "Her best bet for the next year is just living a very mellow and motherly life."

The Rapper LL Cool J was interviewed by A.J. Hammer from "Showbiz Tonight" (march 15), to talk about his book, Britney Spears and how he managed to avoid all the dangerous pitfalls of live in the fast lane, and being young in Hollywood.

In part of his interview he says: Thank God I was a little more discreet, and it wasn’t always the - you know, the guy that was out there and out front. So I don’t want to pretend to be on a pedestal. I’m not a politician; I’m not a pastor. You know, I’m an entertainer, I’m an actor, I’m a - I’m a musician and an author. And that’s where I stand. You know, I’m not Barack Obama, and I’m not claiming to be.

But that being said, I think that spiritually, you know, you got to be grounded. And then you can’t get so attached to the - to the business that it just consumes you, you know? Yes, I like to have the finer things, and I love to be successful. And I enjoy myself very much.

But I can’t sell my soul to - to do it. And - but that doesn’t mean that I won’t work hard, you know?

I mean, I think as far as Britney Spears is concerned, we need to embrace Britney, and - and show her that we can be compassionate, you know? It’s - it’s tough.


Tears For Spears Support Campaign
Britney Spears has certainly sparked a few tears from her one-time die hard fans. The one time pop princess has watched as her antics caused one of her biggest celebrity fan website to go dark, and countless other fans lost interest as her music faded away. Britney long ago seemingly lost a step, and while many understood that she may change a bit as she aged and became a two-time mom, few expected her downward spiral to reach such a rapid pace.
Fans seemed willing to wait for perhaps a bit more mature music and certainly a more mature Britney, but that has now worn a bit thin. She does have some support left. Speculation is that her ex Justin Timberlake is ready to help, and he estranged husband Kevin Federline has been outstanding in his support even as the couple head for splitsville.

She told the paper: "As a mother I know all about the pressures of juggling a music career with raising your children."
Speaking after the fabulous show, Jamelia, who's new single No More is out today, said: "Britney's obviously been going through a tough time and I hope she pulls it all together. I'm sure she can come back stronger than ever."

Britney’s Rehab Romp
Britney Spears was caught romping in the bushes of her rehab centre with a mystery man.

The troubled singer played a game of tennis with the unnamed man, who is also receiving treatment at Malibu's Promises clinic, before they disappeared together.

The pair were later found frolicking in the foliage, of the grounds and had to be separated by security staff.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Britney and her new male friend decided to play a game of tennis. Britney is allowed a little more freedom now she's been in the centre a while.

"The next thing they had sneaked off into the bushes and were getting pretty passionate. They weren't actually having sex but there was definitely some groping. We had to step in to separate them.

"They were told off. They're in rehab and relationships between vulnerable people aren't really encouraged."

This is the second time Britney, 25, has been romantically linked with someone she has met at rehab.

Last week, it was reported that Britney was growing "very close" with rock guitarist Jason Filyaw, who she met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

The 33-year-old rocker claimed he and the shaven-haired singer had "found love" since meeting again in rehab. The pair had met once before in 2003 when they recorded some music together.

Britney checked into the centre last month and is believed to be being treated for alcoholism.

Britney's Aunt To Britney "Come Home"
Britney Spears’ family has begged the babe to quit Hollywood and head home – before it kills her.
The aunt of the troubled 25-year-old pop star, who comes from Kentwood, Louisiana, says she is desperate for Britney to get her life together.
Chanda McGovern 32, who the singer calls “her favourite aunt” said: “Britney has to sort her priorities out and quickly, before it is too late, otherwise she may end up dead.
“It is heartbreaking to go from knowing Britney as she was as a child to seeing how she is now, with everything falling apart. It is sad.
“It has all gone horribly wrong for Britney and I am truly terrified about what might happen to her.
“She needs to come on home to Louisiana, where people love Britney for Britney and where they see past all of her fame and celebrity.
“Out in California, she can’t go to the shops, the cinema or a restaurant without a camera in her face, or people watching her every move.
“She needs to bring her two sons back to Kentwood, where she can get all the love and support she needs.
“It would give her the chance to breathe some fresh air and take her time to discover herself again.
“Her current plight is so desperate – it is painful to watch her unravel publicly.

Chanda was married to Britney’s uncle John Mark Spears for four years in the 90s. But despite her marriage split she has remained close to the star.
“When Britney shaved her head I just could not believe it,” she said.
“It has just ruined her. I’m sure her hair will grow back – but for her to be in the middle of her divorce and the situation with her children, it is the worst thing she could have done.”
During her childhood, Britney’s father Jamie battled an alcohol problem while mum Lynne did her best to bring her family up in a stable home.
“There were times Lynne would pack the children up and come and spend the night with me and my husband to get a break and get away,” said Chanda.
“Her father worked very hard to get her where she is. But he also drank too much and I figured that would be the last thing Britney ever did, to put her kids through the same thing.
“She has been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past few years and it has obviously crashed off the rails.
“Louisiana is where she comes from, Louisiana is what she knows best and it would be the perfect place for her to take a break.
“We love her. We go through the excitement and disappointment when things are going good, or going wild now – but she is still Britney.”
The mum-of-three is critical of Brit’s recent hard partying, which has seen her become a regular on the Los Angeles club scene.
“The continuous partying and the way she is dressing and showing herself is not good, especially when you have young children looking up to you and wanting to be like you,” she said.
“Britney needs to be a mother to her two boys and forget about the partying.
“Britney did not have a childhood because of all her performing, so it is
natural for her to want to go out and have a good time.
“But she has a family now and that has to be her number one priority.
“It is not nice to see her fall out of nightclubs and to be pictured without any underwear on – it looked pornographic.
“That is not the Britney I know and I am sure she will not be proud of those
pictures when she looks back on them.”
Chanda added: “She was brought up right by her mum and I know both her mum and dad are hurting really badly right now.
“She is a lovely girl and we are all so proud of what she has achieved. We all just want the best for her.
“You can always move away but you have to remember your roots.”


This article is very sweet and heartfelt, but I think her aunt may be worrying too much. Britney is finally getting her life under control and getting better. One thing I wanted to point out is that the first paragraph makes it sound like they want Britney back forever. But no, Chandra only says it would be a good place and time for Britney to take a break. This was just a note for any of you who read it the wrong way.

When the legendary music star heard the young singer was in Malibu’s Promises centre, she sent her a gift basket to cheer her up. source told: “The care package was loaded with treats, including home-made fudge brownies with vanilla frosting, loads of fashion magazines, a beautiful pair of La Perla silk pyjamas and a couple of Cher’s favourite tangerine and honeydew scented candles.”

LL Cool J talked about Britney on Showbiz Tonight on March 15th. He siad that "People should embrace Britney and show her that they can be compassionate." He added that you need to be well grounded spiritually (Might I add this is an area in which Britney seems that she can't decide on which path to take) in order to not get too atached to the business. What makes all of that ok??? / NOTHING DOES! Do not treat her like an animal simply because she made the decision to be in the public eye for her career. She made a lot of sacrifices over the years to bring the world awesome music, great stage shows, and a great role model for people.

Rumor: Will Britney Leave Rehab Two days Early?
TheSun.co.uk: Britney Spears is to quit rehab two days early and is planning to appear at estranged hubby Kevin Federline's 29th birthday party. The troubled star, 25, had been due to leave the Promises clinic in Malibu next week after completing treatment.
But after shunning anti-depressants and therapy, Britney has told her family she feels well enough to go to the glitzy bash at LA's Eleven nightclub.
She also wants to see sons Sean, one, and six-month-old Jayden James.
A Promises insider said: "Bosses would have liked her to stay longer."

Our girl is lookin' good (you'll see the sexy outfit she wore before the match when we post the pix a little later ...) and she finally seems happy and back to her old self. Britney played around on the court in the beautiful Malibu mountains, laughing, joking, and dancing around. The two played tennis for all of eight minutes! We don't know who her new friend is, though we believe he's a patient at the center, but we do know that the two of them looked like they were having a great time together and Britney appeared very comfortable around him and her spirit seemed revived. I hope this is the beginning of more good things to come for Britney!

Britney And Kevin Not Reconciling
Hollywood.com, reported that Britney and estranged husband Kevin Federline have become closer during her stay in rehab, but the couple won’t be reconciling, according to press reports.
Federline has been a major source of support for troubled Spears, with media reports suggesting the pair is working on getting back together.
But a friend of Federline slams the reports, saying the former back-up dancer is not interested in rekindling the couple’s romance.
He tells Us Weekly magazine, “I talked to Kevin about Britney and he said he’s not getting back together with Britney. At least not right now. He just wants to be a friend for her.
“She has told him she would get back with him, but he’s trying to just do the right thing for everyone right now, but he doesn’t want to go back there again.”



Ne-Yo Is Waiting For Britney

Britney's New Love Speaks Out
Spears is said to have fallen for Jason Filyaw after a tender re-union after not having seen eachother for 3 years. After seeing he was also bald, Britney affectionaltly rubbed her head up against his and joked: “We could be twins!”. Now they are said to be so in love Jason has told friends that they have already talked about living together.

Yesterday Jason insisted he has been told not to talk about the reports, adding: “I’m not going to sell her out.” But he admitted: “There is always at least some truth in all these crazy stories.” He added: “I’m just trying to keep things under wrap right now to protect so many people. So you can ask me if we are seeing one another as much as you like but all I can say is ‘I’m sorry but I can’t comment’.” Teasingly, he added: “It will all come to light very soon, I promise you.”

Jason, 33, actually first met Britney along with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin back in 2003 at New York’s infamous Hit Factory recording studios. He has worked with a number of big rock acts, including Beck, but his main band is Riva. According to the reports.

Britney’s loved-ones are worried about the effect the relationship will have on her at the most difficult time of her life. An insider said: “Britney is very unhappy in rehab. She wants to be with Jason - and it’s all her family and friends can do to talk her into staying. “Her family is also worried that a fling with Jason could ruin their plans for Kevin, Britney and the kids to get back together when she finishes rehab.”
