| The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour Opens March 3rd! |
| That's right folks! Only three days left from the time I'm posting this until opening night! Britney flew out to Louisiana Friday to begin preparing for the big tour kick-off in New Orleans. Everything is falling into place, and Britney is planning to do a full dress rehearsal for her family on Saturday, according to X17. The final dress rehearsal will be Monday, and of course the show will be Tuesday. If you haven't heard yet, Perez Hilton has filmed some sort of opening video for the tour and, although we have yet to get a setlist, we know there will be plenty songs from Circus and Blackout, as well as favorites from the other albums, of course. The tour is confirmed to have Bollywood inspired dances by Indian choreographer Rujuta Vaidya and, although many reported sketches of Britney's tour costumes have leaked, none are confirmed. We'll just have to wait until opening night for more pictures and information and, if you're lucky enough to have tickets of your own, be sure to get your countdown started- I know I have! |

| E! News has announced that pictures from Britney's "Sticky & Sweet" filming gig for Madonna's new tour, will be released on Monday! Below is the transcript from E!'s Hollywood Rumor Roundup: ``The Britney Spears Beat Never Sleeps. Britney's been shooting her video for Madonna's upcoming "Sticky & Sweet Tour," right here in Hollywood. She's been filming at the soundstage, "The Lot." E! News has been stationed outside to bring you all of the details. And just in, we got the story behind on what the pop star is filming. In fact, E! obtained the exclusive photos of Britney from the shoot; inside an elevator wearing a grey hoodie, getting her makeup put on, and workin' the moves! You'll see those photos on E! Monday. But right now we can tell you what some of those moves are. She kicks the walls, and at one point screams into the camera. Then climbs up the elevator and looks into another camera and says, "It's Britney Bitch!" Yeah it is!´´ |

| Here's the scoop, bitch. Cameras started to roll today on the video that Britney Spears is making for Madonna's upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour, which, sources tell E! News, will be the opening video for each show. The "Are you ready to rumble?!" video, if you will. The shoot took place today at the Lot in West Hollywood, the former site of Warner Hollywood, United Artists and the Samuel Goldwyn Studios. An on-set source said that Britney arrived at around 9 a.m. and was holed up in her dressing room by 9:30. The "Toxic" singer didn't start shooting her scenes until noon. According to our insiders, the planned "short movie" will take place inside an elevator, where seven cameras will be strategically placed to capture the magic. The scene-by-scene breakdown goes like this: Britney, partially disguised by a gray hoodie, walks into the elevator. As she starts traveling upward, she seems particularly nervous and anxious. The popster starts pacing back and forth. Then she progresses to kicking and smacking the walls, all frantic-like. She screams into one of the cameras. Then she starts climbing the wall, pulls down her hood, revelaing her long blonde locks, and into another camera, says: "It's Britney, bitch." Well, at least she shouldn't have trouble remembering her lines. We're told that the 26-year-old mother of two acted "very professional" throughout and, a day after the shoot was postponed due to technical difficulties, everything seemed to be back on schedule. Meanwhile, despite rumors that Madonna was going to wing her way West for a quick set visit, the Material Girl stayed put in New York today. According to a witness privy to her comings and goings, she went to her studio this morning and then returned to her Manhattan apartment. Where, if Madonna weren't used to the current tabloid climate, she would have bolted the door, drawn the shades and pulled the covers over her head. But she probably just ate lunch. |

| Now that Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth to adorable little Maddie Briann, mom Lynne Spears has taken some time to head from her Louisiana home to enjoy some quality time with older daughter, Britney Spears. First, Lynne joined Brit at the recording studio Thursday night, where the singer is working on a follow-up to last year's Blackout. And then earlier on Friday, mom and daughter partook in a nice little shopping spree. Joined by her Brit's assistant Brett and Lynne's best friend Jackie the foursome (Britney attempted to hide in the backseat of one car) drove over to the True Religion jean warehouse in Vernon, Calif. According to witnesses, the four women went "hog wild" at the giant warehouse, scouring the racks and leaving with oversized shopping bags under their arms. Referring to the tight-fit jeans she picked up, Brit was overheard saying to her assistant, "I'm feeling skinnier now, so..." Insiders tell OK! that Britney's relationship with True Religion, famous for their low-rise, hip-baring jeans, is basically the same as the understanding she has at the Ed Hardy warehouse, where she is free to roam to rows and rows and rows of clothes and pull whatever she wants. But despite Friday's shopping spree, it's likely that the sexy slacks will be left in Britney's closet next Tuesday when she heads to court for her final scheduled custody hearing before the case goes to trial in August. |

| Long gone are the days of seeing her cruising around aimlessly with Adnan Ghalib or Sam Lutfi, and last night Britney Spears was seen out and about with her mother, Lynne. The pop princess and her mom were spotted in a chauffeured car at Glenwood Place. Lynne arrived on Wednesday evening to spend some time with her eldest daughter, as she’s been tending to Brit’s little sis/new mommy Jamie Lynn as of late. And as an update to the Gossip Girls’ reports on Britney’s video for Madonna’s upcoming tour, it seems she filmed a rather intense scene earlier this week that is sure to get concert goers on their feet. According to a report, the “Gimme More” songstress finds herself wearing a black hoodie while trapped in an elevator. She “starts to kick the wall and hit things. At one point she screams into the camera. In a state of panic Spears takes off the hood, revealing her long blonde locks, looks straight into the camera and says her famous line ‘It’s Britney, b**ch.’” |

| Britney Update |
| So obviously, a lot has happened on the Britney front since the last time the site was updated. There have been multiple custody hearings, and Britney now sees her boys three times a week, one of those times being an overnight visit. She and Kevin have been in talks trying to settle it, but according to Kevin's lawyer they did not agree on terms. Next Tuesday is the last scheduled custody hearing before the trial in August. Britney is also getting her career and image back on track. She has had two widely acclaimed appearances on How I Met Your Mother, many producers have confirmed that they are working with her on material for a new album (rumored to be released between December of this year and early 2009), and she recently filmed a video for Madonna's tour (I will post all the juicy details on that very soon.) Britney is also looking much better lately- she has gotten her hair done multiple times, making it better each time, and works out regularily at Bally Total Fitness. I will update soon with new info on the video Britney shot for Madonna's tour. |

| Sorry for the absence of updates for the last few months. The entire Britney frenzy and all the drama was too much for me to report on. I think it's best that during times like those the fan sites back off and don't give fuel to the fire. |
 The quick Britney recap I mentioned in the title will just review what's happened since I've been gone. Britney released her second single and video for Piece of Me. I added the video in the video section, you can see it here. Britney regained visitation, but lost it again on January third after she refused to give the children back to Kevin. Britney was taken to the hspital for a couple of days. Following that, she frequented gas stations, Starbucks, and Rite Aid, with multiple sets of candids every day. In late January, Britney's parents came to LA after she had a fight with self proclaimed, so called "manager" Sam Lufti. She ended up being taken to the hospital again, where she stayed for a good amount of time. During that time, Britney's fatherJamie became her conservator of hersefl and her estate, menaing her is basically in control of everything, until July unless it is challenged. Lynne declared, under oath, that she believes Sam Lufti drugged Britney. This declaration is a very good read and really clues you in to the magnitude of what Britney has to live with. Read it here. Within the last week or so, Britney has regained visitation of children Sean Preston and Jayden James and is seeing them very often. She has been dancing, reportedly rehearsing for a video for her next single ("Break The Ice"), and has been teaching dance classes to young children. She auctioned off a picture of her teaching a dance class for charity. Britney's life has been very quiet for the last month and she appears to finally be getting back on track. the restraining order against Sam Lufti is still in place and Britney has not seen him since the night of her hospitalization in the end of January. More than one person has come forward saying Sam Lufti was also a 'friend' of theirs until he took control of their lives and threatened them and their families, just as Sam has done to Britney. A simple breakdown of a couple of those claims against Lufti can be found here, although there is much more to the stories. A demo of Britney's called "Dramatic" also leaked last week. It is a 'duet' of sorts between Britney and Heidi Montag, though the use of Britney's vocals on the track is unauthorized. Britney never worked with Heidi and never planned this. You can listen to "Dramatic" here. Britney is also reported to be in the early stages of a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother, reports from today claim. She is said to have gone in for a quick read through of the show, which unless plans change, will air as soon as April 7th. | Kevin's Lawyer: Britney Will Get Visitation Back Soon No baby Blackout yet: A day after court documents revealed that Britney Spears's visitation rights were revoked, her ex Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan tells PEOPLE she will likely regain the privilege before their next court hearing on Oct. 26. "She has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension]," Kaplan says. "I expect that visitation will be reinstated." The document released Thursday stated, "[Spears's] visitation with the minor children is suspended pending [her] compliance with court orders." A Spears source gave more insight into the decision, telling PEOPLE Spears was unreachable for court-related calls due to bad reception at her Malibu home. Despite repeated attempts to reach the singer on her cell phone, the source says Spears "waited" but "it never rang." Kaplan, speaking to PEOPLE Thursday as he was leaving dinner at Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood, also confirmed that Britney and Kevin's 730 evaluations – which involve a third party assessing the quality of parenting and making observation-based recommendations regarding the final custody arrangement – have begun. Therapy Sessions As for the co-parenting therapy sessions she and Federline must attend together: "They are just about to do that." This latest development follows an endless string of major and minor legal mandates including working with a parenting coach and submitting to random drug tests. After losing her custody temporarily on Oct. 1, Spears appeared and was granted one overnight visit a week with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. | Britney Spears: The Comeback By Beaserbunny Britney Rocks Webmaster Britney Spears: tabloid favorite, music superstar, mother of two. She's all that, plus so much more. Her career took off like a shot with the release of "Baby One More Time", all the way back in 98/99. With her catholic schoolgirl shirt tied above her bellybutton, and that (now classic) I'm-not-that-innocent look upon her face, Britney started a line of controversies which would only grow over the next 8 years. That same girl would someday shave her head, enter rehab, and lose the two children she had so close together, and loved dearly. Leaving some, if not most, simply scratching their heads. Britney Spears: Number one hit-maker, career driven woman, powerful popstar. Those are all words, which, while still used to describe her today, people have a difficult time believing. They think that Britney is no more than what you can see, that she ends at skin deep. Well let me tell you something: it's an extreme opposite. When reading the catty remarks Britney has left on her official website, or when listening to or reading anything she's tried to explain about her life, you realize how deep she really is. Inside, she's a down-home girl from Kentwood, Louisiana, where everybody knows your name, where you're accepted for who you are. On the outside, she's a music phenomenon, someone who, despite living in LA, everybody really does know her name. That in itself in amazing, just the thought. Everybody knows your name, all eyes on you. You make a mistake- the whole world will find out. That's a difficult place to be, one most will never know and could never imagine. It's difficult for someone used to being cautious, being careful. It's even worse for someone with as big a heart as Britney, someone who used to be willing to trust everyone and try to see the good in us all. Over the last year, that Britney has been lost. While she still has an undoubtedly big heart, the trust factor is gone. Your marriage crumbled and ended in a bitter divorce. Check. Your parenting skills have been under the microscope more times than you can count. Check. The man who led your career from the start and got you where you are teamed up with your mother to get you help you don't think you needed. Check. And the list goes on. I can't even begin to think of anyone with as numerous problems as Britney. It's no wonder she doesn't think she can trust anyone anymore. Everyone she loved betrayed her. One by one Britney problems seemed to be going away. Her divorce was finalized, she reconciled with her mom, all of the people subpoenaed for her custody case have yet to be speak in court, if ever. She had her biggest hit since the title track off of her debut album. Even Britney's physical appearance was improving. Then she lost custody. I believe this turned Britney's world upside down. Though she seems to be pulling through, the look on her face when she has been caught off guard has shown her true pain. Things have been looking up recently, however. Britney was granted monitored visitation a few times a week. She went back to court to ask for overnight visitation rights, which she received for one night per week. Things are finally smoothing out for Miss Spears. With her new album previously due out on November 13th, fans eagerly made bulletins and banners online. Despite the disappointments we fans seem to get between good things- VMA Performance, simple video, the fact that the album cover uses the same promo picture we've been seeing for months- we are still excited. Imagine how much more ecstatic we became when it was officially announced that the album would be pushed up to October 30th due to online leaks. Sure, leaks aren't a good thing, but the fact they made her change her release date is. There was too much competition on November 13th- Alicia Keys, Celine Dion, etc- so the move is for the best. Yes, ladies and gentleman, this is the new era. Filled with controversy and an uneasy silence, no one is quite sure what will happen. But with dates approaching fast and media coverage not slowing down, we're going to have to go with the old saying- any press is good press. Everyone is watching Britney. Some waiting for her to fail, some for her to succeed, and others simply watching it unfold. I firmly believe, however, that the fact that she is the most talked about woman on the planet, can correspond into album sales. With rumored talks of interviews for later this month and the recurrence of mysterious auditions for dancers- we know Britney has something up her sleeve. I adore Britney so much! Her music is amazing, as is she as a person. The struggles she goes through are personal and should not be spread across the public the way they are. As a person and a musician myself I have a lot of respect for her and wish her the best of luck in life and in everything she does! =]
